A different question for your camera
A custom check would use camera pictures to answer a question about a fixture or merchandise, keep a history and raise alerts.
If you can answer it by looking at a picture, it is worth asking us about.

Is it there?
A floor display, a pallet or a sidewalk sign.
Is it open or closed?
An ice merchandiser lid or a cooler door.
Is it as it should be?
Carts in the corral, current promotional signs or a stocked end cap.

Not on offer
What we will not build
RinVis is pointed at fixtures and merchandise. There are whole categories of camera work it is not the right tool for and that we are not interested in doing, however well they would fit the structure.
- Nothing about people. No recognizing, counting, tracking or describing a person, a customer or an employee. People are blurred before a picture is stored, and no question asked of RinVis may be about them.
- Not security or surveillance. RinVis is not a loss-prevention tool, an intrusion detector or a replacement for a monitored alarm.
- Not medical, not financial, not safety-critical. Nothing clinical, nothing that reads money or documents, and nothing whose failure would hurt somebody. A picture on a schedule is the wrong tool for all of them.
