What it is
Keep an eye on shelves and bins
RinVis checks shelves and bins from camera pictures, keeps a history, and alerts you when something needs attention.
Choose the area to watch and how often to check it.
What you can check
Products and stock levels
Product placement
See which products are on each shelf and how much space each brand takes up. Get alerts when products are missing or appear where they should not.
Bin level
Track estimated levels in a case, tray or bin after a calibration procedure. Get alerts when it runs low, runs out or reaches a high level.
How it works
Set up once. Check on schedule.
- Point a camera at the fixture. Use a fixed camera with a clear view of the shelf or bin.
- Choose an area to check. Choose what to check. One camera can watch several areas.
- Set a schedule. Choose a schedule that fits each store’s hours.
- Choose your alerts. Choose what needs an alert, for one store or across your company.
You can review readings and history without setting up alerts. See how it works
Across stores
All your stores in one place
Organize your stores
Keep stores organized by district or group, with access for the people responsible for each.
Know when a camera needs attention
See when a camera goes offline or its view is blocked, too dark or out of position.
What we do not do
Cameras in a store are worth being careful with
- People are blurred. Every stored picture, everywhere, with no switch to turn it off. RinVis is pointed at fixtures, and nothing it reports describes a person.
- Pictures expire, readings do not. Full pictures are kept for at most 90 days. What was read out of them is kept, so older history still says what was on the shelf after the picture behind it has gone.
- Pictures never leave the account. Alert mail carries the area, the rule and whether it broke or cleared, never a picture. Anyone who wants to see one signs in.
